Ecuadoran President Rafael Correa said yesterday that the US Central Intelligence Agency was involved in last week's opposition protests. He further charged the opposition with doing everything possible to wear down the down in advance of the elections, but noted that participation in the protests fell far short of the organizers' expectations.
