Under Tony’s leadership, Staten Island University Hospital has distinguished itself as an outstanding clinical and medical education center, as well as a trusted community resource. As the island’s largest healthcare provider and employer, Tony has led the hospital’s response in saving and healing lives through best practice, research, and response to crisis—including the Staten Island Ferry crash in 2003, Hurricane Irene, and the destruction from Superstorm Sandy.
