Mehsana: In the year 1982, government allotted land to Gujarat Rural Housing Board for building houses for poor but the authorities usurped the land. As per an RTI (Right to Information), land of 34 houses of Amrapali Society in Vaav village have been usurped by former Sarpanches, Talati Mantris and bizmen producing fake documents. The land scam of Rs.3.5 crore has been exposed but despite repeated complaint, no authorities have looked into the matter.
