Events are essential to building a sense of place and community among residents at The Glades at Byford. It is a vital part of community life and building sustainable, connected communities.

At The Glades there is a busy schedule of events. The Glades Arts & Produce Markets run every 3rd Saturday from September to April between 4-9pm which attract over 2,000 visitors a month during the summer.

A purpose built location on Gallant Turn in the village centre has been designed to be the home of these popular monthly markets. These markets are sometimes aligned with important milestone launches for the project which can see the village centre lake be lit up with a fabulous light show to officially mark the completion of such an important landmark for the project.
