This instrument is used to measure contact resistance. In this video two ordinary wires have been compared. In normal digital voltmeter we can see that on resistance both wires shows 0 ohms and shows full connectivity. This instrument can detect resistance based on the setting of POT and has the ability to reject the wires with the higher resistance. This circuit is very valuable for checking weld strap of lead acid battery .
