Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has come up with a distinct initiative to preserve city's heritage. The municipal commissioner D Thara along with her team visited to review the condition of heritage houses in the city. AMC is preparing a comprehensive list of heritage structures. After preparing the list, the owners will not only get the benefit of additional tradable FSI, which they can sell to builders for a premium, they can use the money for restoration of the building.
