The parents of the 43 disappeared Ayotzinapa students have called on Washington to put an end to Plan Mérida, which has allocated over US$2 billion to fund security measures in Mexico. The families are traveling to cities around the U.S. to draw public attention to the fate of their children and widespread human rights violations by the Mexican military and police. They demand that no more U.S. resources, no more arms, no more war equipment be sent to the Mexican government.
