Botad: A woman, who became pregnant after she was allegedly raped by four men, filed a plea before the High Court seeking termination of her pregnancy, stating that her husband may not accept her if she gave birth to the child. The woman had been abducted from her home and was gangraped by four persons for close to six months. She managed to flee from her captors on March 14. Of the four accused, three have been arrested so far.
