Main access is from Gunnergate Lane where there is a small car park. Top area of park is quite flat with many trees, mown grass and wildflower meadow. The "Dell" is a small valley with stream and several lakesponds accessible via several steps and paths. It is bounded by the A172, the B1380 and on two sides by The Grove. br br Stewart Park houses the Captain Cook Museum, ( ), the site of the cottage where Captain James Cook was born.
