Ahmedabad: After the conciliation discussion between unions and authorities, strike of Class-4 employees, nurses and AMTS drivers and conductors was finally called of. The development took place after a meeting of Naukar Mandal leaders with city Municipal Commissioner, Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Standing Committee Chairman.The authorities have promised to resolve all pending issues. Reportedly, AMC has agreed to withdraw terminations of nurses who went on strike and cases filed in police stations in connection with strike.
