A Border Patrol agent shot and killed a suspected illegal border crosser near the Huntington Border Crossing in Sumas, Washington on Thursday.br br The shooting took place on Kneuman Road at around 2:45 p.m., the Bellingham Herald reported. A man reportedly attacked the agent using pepper spray. The agent then opened fire and struck the man in the head.br br The officer was not seriously injured, Reuters reported.
