The story is like a scene from William Faulkner’s “A Rose for Emily”, Le Van’s wife died more than 11 years ago, but they still share a bed every night.br br After his wife died Le Van slept on his wife’s grave for 20 months and when he began to tire of sleeping on the cold muddy earth he decided to dig up his wife up and take her home. Or maybe he was just tired of sharing his wife with all the other corpses in the graveyard.br br He wrapped her body in flesh colored paper and covered her skull with a clay mask that he painted in her likeness.br br Even in death he’s unwilling to part with his wife.
