Last week a 22-year old Taiwanese student named Chen Chao Ming murdered his mother while she was visiting him in Los Angeles from Taiwan.

The two reportedly had an argument in the early morning hours. Chen then beat his mother unconscious with a hammer before strangling her to death.

After murdering his mother Chen then threw the family cat out the window.

Police have arrested Chen and are currently working with the Taiwan Representative Office in LA.
