A six year girl died after falling into the water in Rio Maicuru, in Monte Alegre, Brazil, while on a family vacation.br br Her grandmother explained that she tried to hold onto the little girl but there were other children around and the little girl slipped from her grasp. Once the family had reached the banks of the river they could no longer see the little girl.br br By the time the girl’s body had been recovered she’d been partially devoured by a voracious shoal of piranhas.
