Michael Robert Hoyt, is sitting in a federal prison in Massachusetts after being indicted on charges to threaten the life of House Speaker John Boehner. br br 44 year old Hoyt was a bartender at an Ohio country club frequented by Boehner for over five years. But was let go from his job rather suddenly in mid October 2014 for unknown reasons. A week later he phoned police, blaming Speaker Boehner for getting him fired. He even emailed Debbie Boehner, the Speaker’s wife to apologize.br br In a blog posting, Hoyt felt that the Speaker was the devil incarnate and responsible for plagues like Ebola amongst other things. He felt that if Boehner was Satan, then he ought to be Jesus. But he also noted that he’d never do anything like poison the man, he just wanted to expose him for who he isbr br To his credit, Hoyt did check himself into a psychiatric ward after hearing “the voice of Satan coming from his car stereo saying John Boehner is evil.”br br Hoyt has been treated and medicated for psychotic episodes in the past.
