A hippo jumped from a truck and broke some teeth and a leg while it was being transported from a shelter in Miaoli to Skyzoo recreational farm in Taichung. br br A worker from the farm in Miaoli said the hippo named Ah-he was one of two hippos being transported from a temporary shelter to a new renovated home at the new farm in Taichung. br br The worker said Ah He may have been startled by something during transport that caused him to jump through a ventilation window in their container and collide with a parked car. br br The hippo startled Miaoli residents. The hippo eventually tired itself out and laid down on the ground. br br Vets were quickly called to the scene.
