Meet 26-year-old Jenya Bolotov from Russia. Jenya has spent the last seven years in the noble pursuit of becoming a platypus.br br Found only in eastern Australia and Tasmania, these animals are an interestingly strange evolutionary experiment, but for Jenya the platypus is a wonder.br br Jenya started out by stretching his bottom lip and then moved on to widening his nostrils and getting some tattoos on his brow.br br He began experimenting with piercings when he was 10 years old, and for some reason, his schoolmates found him strange and he had a lonely childhood.br br But at the age of 19, Jenya had an epiphany. He realized that all this time, inside, he was actually a platypus.br br As the years went on, Jenya kept at it, becoming the first known person to get the bridge of his nose stretched.br br But to be frank, Jenya, we’re not really seeing the platypus. Where’s the waterproof fur? Where’s the tail for storing fat?
