A St. Louis mother has been sentenced to 78 years in prison in the horrific beating and torture case involving her two young daughters. br br Lakechia Stanley along with her husband Anthony repeatedly punished the girls, ages 8 and 10, with extreme forms of torture and abuse.br br Prosecutors say Lakechia Stanley admitted to whipping the girls with electrical cords, forcing them into scalding or freezing showers, and beating them with an array of objects including a baseball bat. br br Stanley will join her husband behind bars.
