Who knew sea lions were so fast? Apparently, an adult California sea lion weighing 440 pounds and measuring seven feet in length can reach a top swimming speed of 13.4 miles per hour.br br So it was a bit of a surprise to see this California sea lion chasing a fishing boat off the coast of Mexico near Rayo, Loma Del Sol.br br The sea lion is seen swimming fast in the boat’s wake. The humans on board open the back door, allowing the sea lion to board.br br What happens next is truly amazing. The sea lion is rewarded with a huge fish.
