Florida cop tases 62-year-old woman

The Tallahassee Police Department definitely has some explaining to do after an incident during an arrest ended with the 62-year-old woman being stunned by one of its officers for apparently no reason at all.br br Pouchon Richard, of the 500 block of Dunn Street, was filming the arrest of a man, Quontarrious Jones,23, who was walking in the middle of the street. When two other women who were with the man became agitated, Laguna Young, 41, and Quaneshia Rivers, 20, officers arrested them too, according to the police report.br br A short time later, another resident, Viola Young, tries to ask one of the officers about the current situation on the very narrow street. Officer Terry Mahan responded, intending to take her into custody. He then confronts Young, telling her she was under arrest, but she walks away. Mahan then fires his taser gun into her back, stunning Young and dropping her face first on the ground. br br In light of the recent spate of incidents of police brutality in America, the Tallahassee Police and Florida State Attorney’s office seem to be very hands on in this case.br br Tallahassee Police Chief Michael Deleo announced an internal investigation into the matter along with posting the video you just watched on the department’s YouTube account for all to see, and the Florida Attorney General's Office is looking into the incident as well.br br Officer Mahan is has been placed on paid leave.br br ----------------------------------------­---------------------br br Welcome to TomoNews, where we animate the most entertaining news on the internets.
