Nicaragua's Ambassador to the Netherlands has addressed the International Court of Justice in the Hague. He refuted Costa Rica's claim that Nicaragua has caused ecological damage to the protected wetlands at the mouth of the San Juan River. A border cispute between the two countries dates back to the nineteenth century.
