Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government, citing the new Gujarat Cooperative Societies Act (Amendment) 2015, has prepared a list of 100 big and small cooperative societies where custodians will be appointed, dissolving the elected body, as their terms were over. It’s a move that’s seen as a strategy to influence co-operatives ahead of the local bodies elections.
