Ahmedabad: When the politician walks in, the writers walk out. This has been the scenario in Gujarat. The academies connected with art and literature are under the control of government which has left writers distressed. Writers are set to kick off campaign for autonomy of Gujarati Literary Academy (Gujarat Sahitya Academy) from May 1, 2015.
