Ahmedabad: A complaint of cheating has been filed at the Chandkheda police station against NA Constructions and its builder Nilesh Shah who is accused of duping hundreds of people of crores of rupees by promising them affordable houses. The complaint stated that Shah had allegedly told the people that the affordable housing scheme was 'government-approved' as he had signed a memorandum of understanding regarding this with the state government in the 2012 Vibrant Gujarat Summit. In total, four persons are involved in the conspiracy. Notably, it took nearly 12 hours for police to file complaint against the four accused.
