Ahmedabad: The next time a restaurant or hotel charges you over the MRP for a bottle of water, contact the Consumer Protection and Action Committee just like Khemchandbhai Soni who went to the hotel and was charged Rs.40 instead of Rs.25. Your one step could drag culprits to court. As of now, the Consumer Protection and Action Committee has sent notice to six hotels for overcharging the customers.
