Michael Brown shooting: Glide confirms timestamp of audio from Ferguson shooting

The company whose video chat service apparently captured audio of Michael Brown’s shooting on August 9 said Thursday the recording was made around the time Brown was shot and killed in the street. br br Video messaging service Glide posted on its blog that it verified the timestamp of the audio matches the time of Brown’s shooting earlier this month. Glide said the recording was created at 12:02:14 p.m. that day. Brown was killed by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson shortly after noon. br br “A Glide user living nearby was simply using the Glide app on their smartphone exactly as it was designed -- to instantly communicate with a friend through our real-time video texting service.
