A Palestinian construction worker rammed his excavator into a bus, killing a pedestrian before being shot dead by police in Jerusalem on Monday.br br The Jerusalem Post reports that the attack took place at approximately 1:30 p.m. The driver of the excavator, Muhammad Naif el-Ja’abisa, was a Palestinian worker employed at a construction site nearby. He first ran over a pedestrian before flipping the bus over. The bus driver and five other people were lightly hurt, the Times of Israel reported. According to Reuters, Israeli police have declared the incident a terror attack.br br There are conflicting reports concerning the number of passengers on board the bus when it was attacked. Reuters reported there were no passengers on the bus, while the Times of Israel said there were three passengers aboard.
