Jeffrey Joseph missing: Convicted LA pot shop owner’s strange disappearance on way to weed farm

Jeffrey Joseph, a 45-year-old man on probation for running an unlicensed marijuana dispensary in Los Angeles, has gone missing.br br Joseph was last seen leaving his uncle’s home in Chatsworth on June 20 in his green 1998 Toyota RAV4.br br His last known location is the Hoopa area of Humboldt Valley. Cellphone tower data shows he made a call from the area on the morning of June 21.br br Joseph has been serving five years on probation after a year behind bars for the illegal sale of marijuana to students.br br Joseph’s sister told police he intended to go visit a “farm” in Humboldt County. The area is the locus of numerous missing persons cases.br br Since Joseph’s disappearance, one man from that farm has left the state. Another changed his phone number.br br Police are sifting through a large volume of call records in an attempt to determine who Joseph was meeting.
