A Chinese man was killed by a falling piece of glass while talking to his friend in Southern China's Fujian Province on July 17. br br The victim, identified by his last name, Huang, rode an electric scooter to visit his friend. According to a CCTV footage, Huang parked his scooter next to a building, and was talking to his friend while still sitting on the scooter, when suddenly a glass panel fell from five stories up and hit him. br br Huang fell to the ground right away and began bleeding profusely. He was sent to hospital but succumbed to his serious head injuries the next day. br br According to Chinese reports, the glass panel fell from the fifth floor, where a swimming pool was located. The pool was surrounded by a guardrail made of glass and stainless steel. The panel was 31 by 15 inches.
