Elizabeth Starr, a 43-year-old porn star received string implants in 1999, hoping it would help her career. The procedure involves putting synthetic polypropylene "strings" into the breasts. Polypropylene will cause continuous expansion of the breasts after surgery. The implants were soon banned in the United States and Europe.br br She had the strings removed from her right breast due to infection, then replace it with saline implant. Over the years, Elizabeth underwent 63 reconstructive procedures. Now the potential risk of fatal blood clots and infections put her life in danger. She said her super-sized breasts are like ticking bombs and she's very scared that anything could happen to her. br br Doctors suggest in order to save her life, she needs to have a double mastectomy. However, Elizabeth thinks a mastectomy would end her career and she doesn't know what else she would do.br br Elizabeth said in the video "It's hard when you have been a victim of something and it's even harder when you choose a path in life where people might look down on you and think, 'She deserved it.'
