Shinya Yamada, a 30-year-old diplomat at the Japanese embassy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has been arrested on suspicion of starting a fire at the mission.br br He was allegedly the last person to leave the embassy the day the fire broke out in late June. Police strongly suspect Yamada of arson. br br Yamada was reportedly caught by a security camera carrying a petrol tank into the embassy.
