Leaders of Colombia's 2 Largest Guerrilla Groups Meet in Havana

Leaders of Colombia's two largest guerrilla groups, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and the National Liberation Army (ELN) met in Havana during the ongoing peace talks with the Colombian government. President Juan Manuel Santos announced that he had facilitated the meeting in order to further the peace process. Right-wing opponents of the peace process said the visit to Cuba was illegal and characterized Santos' actions as treasonous, accusations rejected by government chief negotiator Humberto de la Calle. Exploratory dialogues between the government and the ELN have been underway for two years. Supporters of the peace process insist that involving in the ELN in the peace process and the talks between the two rebel groups are key to an overall and lasting settlement to the conflict. Natalia Margarita reports from Bogota.
