A bear attacked a man in Alaska after he offered it pieces of barbecued meat. The man was at a church picnic at Eklutna Lake when he decided to go for a bicycle ride. He had been drinking and thought to pack some barbecued meat with him. Along the way, he encountered a black bear and fed it. The bear suddenly attacked, puncturing the skin on the man's jaw, as well as scratching his back. The man was later discovered at a campground, washing his wounds; park rangers reported that he wasn't very coherent.
