Ahmedabad: As many as 7 children have got blisters on their feet not because of the heat but because of scorching sand dumped in open ground of Satyamnagar in Narol area of the city. The residents have claimed that textile industries dispose hazardous waste and hot sand which leads to severe health issues. Children play in that ground but then they return with peeled skin because of hot substances. Despite series of complaints, no action has been taken therefore, residents have decided to take legal action against the industries.
