Mumbai: As many as 227 members of cleaning staff have been suspended for going on leave without any prior notice. The case came to light when the Additional Municipal Commissioner of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Dr Pallavi Darade paid a surprise visit. The residents had been complaining to solve garbage problems.
