Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff announced that her government would be earmarking US$60 billion to support the country's agricultural sector. It is the highest figure ever and 25 above last year's budget allocation. She also said that farmers who use environmentally friendly agricultural techniques would be rewarded for doing so.
