'Madras Cafe' Actress Arrested for Involvement in a Scam

Mumbai police have arrested Leena Maria Paul, her partner, Sekar Chandrashekhar and four others four allegedly cheating people by promising them 300 per cent returns on their investments in their firm. Leena, who had acted in the Bollywood film, Madras Cafe, and her live-in partner were arrested from their rented Goregaon apartment. They had earlier been arrested by the Delhi police in May, 2013 for allegedly cheating Canara Bank in Chennai by taking a loan of Rs 19 crore and then absconding.
