Mike, of Pikes Peak Beekeepers Association, did the bee swarm recovery. Mike was very tender in his method of recovering a bee swarm. br On Wednesday May 6, 2015, we had our second bee swarm recovery, and the first bee swarm recovery was on Friday April 24, 2015. A bee swarm collected on top of our OZ West Bee Colony top-bar beehive. That top-bar hive currently is double-occupied with not one but two bee colonies, "The Swarm" (from a bee swarm recovery that I did on Friday April 24, 2015) & "The New Bee Colony" (bee provider bee colony that we bonked Saturday April 25, 2015).
