Gir Somnath : Heavy rains caused by a deep depression over the Arabian Sea wreaked havoc in Gir-Somnath. With several electric poles uprooted, many parts of Gir-Somnath district reeled under power cuts. Crop damage is being estimated and farmers are urging government to give compensation as early as possible.
