Using Coleman Fuel, Diesel, Odorless Kerosene, Or the highest octane un-leaded Gasoline, this multi fuel stove takes a period of 2 to 4 minutes to get the generator hot enough to vaporize the fuel making it ready to cook anything. br It also runs on Butane, Propane, Iso-Butane and Natural Gas without having to change the jet on the stove. br When running gaseous fuel such as Propane, the 2 to 4 minute warm up is not required. br By far, this is the best camping stove I own.
