Ahmedabad: On this Rathyatra, Kirtibhai Patel and his family are going to present Mameru at Ranchhod Temple in Saraspur. Mythology has it that Mameru is gifts given to Lord Jagannath, his brother Lord Balaram and their sister Subhadra from their maternal uncle on Rath Yatra. Traditionally, Mameru is presented by set of people chosen by Ranchhod Temple in Saraspur.
