For Great Aunts he teams up with long-time musical cohort and best friend David Barnard, as well as enlisting Sage Duvall on drums and Ben Perman on bass. The sound of the band ranges from 90s alternative to modern indie rock, taking influence from artists such as Ben Kweller, Ambulance Ltd, Spoon, and Wilco. br br Fall 2014 found Rose living in Nashville, TN with his then band Civilian. Over the course of a few cold months his latest effort Deep Breaths was written and recorded. The self-producedreleased album, along with two previous albums (Fight Tonight and In Love With the Sun) can be streamed or downloaded at greataunts.bandcamp.com.
