FIFA has set a date to elect a new president.br br An extraordinary congress will be held at the organisation’s headquarters in Zurich in Switzerland on the 26th of February 2016.br br It comes after a corruption scandal swept through football’s world governing body in May. Seven FIFA officials were arrested as part of a US-led probe into alleged large-scale corruption and bribery.
