Paddy is in need of medical attention and Robert starts to panic. Aaron continues to goad Robert, telling him he doesn't have the guts to kill them both. In an effort to diffuse the situation, Paddy tells Robert to get his medical bag from his car. While Robert is outside, Paddy tells Aaron to keep quiet as he is trying to save their lives. Paddy instructs Robert as he stitches up the gunshot wound. Paddy and Aaron convince Robert to let them go by promising not to say anything about Katie or the shooting. While Robert goes back to Home Farm in shock, Aaron is furious that Robert will not be punished. Paddy tells him to let it go and stay away from Robert once and for all. Finally, Aaron shows up at Home Farm and angrily reveals the affair to a devastated Chrissie, who then throws Robert out.
