Learn how to make Kosambari, a quick and healthy vegetarian salad recipe by Anushruti only on Rajshri Food! br br Kosambari, a traditional salad that is healthy and easy to make is a celebrated salad dish in South India often made during the illustrious events of Ram Navmi and Navratri. br br Ingredients: br br 210 gm (1 cup) green gram dal or Bengal gram dal br ½ cup grated carrot br ½ cup finely chopped cucumber br 2 green chilies, chopped br 1 tsp lime juice br 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves br salt to taste br ¼ cup grated coconut br For Seasoning: br 2 tsp oil br ½ tsp mustard seeds br 3 to 4 bits of dry red chili br br Method: br br - Wash and soak the dal in water for about an hour or two. br - Drain the water off the dal and put it in a bowl. Add the grated carrot and chopped cucumber.
