The law on Driving Disqualified in Victoria

Driving Disqualified charges usually happen in situations where a person drives a motor vehicle on a highway whilst being suspended or disqualified from doing so. There is a big difference in the seriousness of a charge of driving disqualified where a person was disqualified by the Courts and one where they were disqualified by Vicroads because of points. When someone has been disqualified at Court they are disobeying a Court order when they drive. This is seen as much more serious by the Courts. br br Doogue O’Brien George Defence Lawyers, br Level 5 , 221 Queen St., Melbourne, br VIC 3000, br Ph: (03) 9670 5111, br www.criminal-lawyers.com.
