Opposition MPs today called for an investigation to be carried out on the whereabouts of Manuel Amalilio's wealth, and his connections to politicians and officials in Malaysia.
He is wanted by Manila for cheating over 15,000 people of RM895 million.
Amalilio wooed victims by claiming to be Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman's nephew.
Musa later confirmed that he was a distant relative.
*Correction: Of the four opposition MPs who signed the petition, only Tian Chua and Sivarasa are from PKR.
