A transgender person from Mexico who suffered years of abuse there has been granted the right to stay in the United States by a US appeals court.br br Edin Carey Avendano-Hernandez had already been deported once following criminal convictions.br br The judges said Mexico suffered from an epidemic of unsolved violent crime against transgender people.
