The bible makes it very clear that one must be "born again" before death in order for an individual to make it to Heaven. But what did Jesus mean when he said "Truly, I say to you... except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh, that which is born of the spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said to you, you must be born again (John 3:3-7). It would seem that this most important truth of being "born again" had better be understood by each individual person on earth because one's eternal soul depends on it.
