Organization of American States Secretary-General Luis Almagro urged the Mexican government to pursue its investigation into the enforced disappearance of the 43 Ayotzinapa students with professionalism. In addressing the Mexican Senate, Almagro said the OAS welcomed the report by independent specialists from the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and characterized it as an important contribution to clarifying what occurred with the Ayotzinapa students.
